The “Empowering Women” team with Grace Klein Community will be in South Africa with Beats and Books on Monday and we are going to have their beds made, pillows fluffed and the fridge stocked ready to welcome their arrival.
As Jesus family, we are going to stoop low and lay down our lives for people we do not know and I hope when people think of us, they think of Jesus.

Last night a South African gent told me South Africa and Birmingham, AL are mirror images of one another. Yes!! Exactly what I see. In my lifetime I am believing Birmingham will no longer be known for hate, but for love. Imagine if the world knew us for LOVE!!
Call me crazy, but I think South Africa has a vital part to play in our story and in our continued transformation which is why I invited 7 American women to come travel with us and they all said YES! If you have seen the line up of women who are coming, you know only God made this trip possible with women who run full and demanding schedules. These women are world changing kind of women – just watch.
Did you know we bought our flights on faith? We are believing God for what we cannot do and He is doing it! What are you believing God for? We cannot wait until we have the entire plan before we step. We have to trust God for the next step. Step.
No matter if life is sunshine or rainy days, God is using everything to make us into the people He has called us to be. Don’t stop now. Dance in the rain, bask in the sunshine and believe in the God of the impossible. He is enough and His Son Jesus died for us so we could live an “abundant life” kind of life.
All I have to give is yes.
